House Schmid, now Fromm
Haus Schmid in Malans, now known as Guesthouse Fromm, is an aristocratic building with historical charm. It has a southern façade with the Schmid coat of arms and offers an apartment with a dining room and vaulted kitchen.
Rural aristocratic house with attached former stable, stables and garden. Southern façade with Schmid coat of arms above the entrance. Dwelling with panelled parlor, vaulted kitchen and saletta. Typical of the medieval building: carved purlin heads support the porch roof. Inner courtyard formed by the Schmid house, bridge-like connecting building and late classicist residential building (around 1860). Today, Fromm House is rented out as a guesthouse.
