Restaurant Schlüssel Mels
A real institution in the canton of St. Gallen. Since 1974, the Kalberer family has stood for exquisite gastronomy. Already father Seppi has shaped the Swiss gastronomy over four decades and son Roger continues his legacy in a bravura manner.
In the historic, beautiful patrician house dating back to 1811, son Roger has taken over the scepter in the kitchen after years of traveling through renowned restaurants and enriches the cuisine with his refreshing and creative ideas. He skillfully combines French classicism, Swiss tradition and modern elements.
In the nobly decorated Nidbergstube, the focus is on gourmet menus, while in the Schlüsselstube, guests will find dishes for every day in a cheerful atmosphere. In addition, a grandiose wine list with selected wines. Marianne Blum and her team provide a charming and loving touch to the service.
The Restaurant Schlüssel has been awarded 17 Gault Millau points and has one star in the Guide Michelin.
