Former gothic residential house, bought by Maienfeld in 1447

Three-storey building between octagonal stair tower and southwest wing under hipped roof with two dormers. Rebuilt to its present form in 1589. It says “Nütze die Zeit” (Seize the time) under the tower clock face. Restored after fires in 1622 and 1720. The tower received a dome with lantern after 1720. Rebuilt to its present form in 1923. The facade has been decorated by a patriotic picture since 1930.
