Would you like to know how a milking bucket is made of wood? Visit one of Switzerland's oldest white cooperages. The traditional wooden milking pails, butter barrels and Gebsen are still made here in the same careful manual work from selected wood. Even some tools over 100 years old are still in use.
Dieter Gmür continues the craft of his grandfather and will be happy to give you an insight into his workshop and his work. Guided tours are available on request.
