Tourist tax
Every guest staying in the holiday region Heidiland has to pay a visitor's tax. The regulation is interpreted differently depending on the political municipality.

Exemption from the tourist tax
- Unpaid overnight stay
- Accommodation for professional reasons (excl. events, seminars, conferences, courses)
- Residence through the exercise of a public service obligation (e.g. military service)
- School visitors and participants in further education programmes
- Teachers and school classes (up to 16 years)
- Patients of clinics, nursing homes as well as home residents (excl. Bad Ragaz)
Adventure Pass (guest card)
From just one overnight stay, guests receive the Heidiland Adventure Pass (guest card), directly in the accommodation or by means of a confirmation of stay at one of our tourist offices. With the Heidiland Adventure Pass, overnight guests can obtain a variety of attractive services and offers in the holiday region Heidiland at reduced rates.
